Today we headed out north and east to the Emirate of Fujairah. Along the way we saw camels near the road. Shakib said that they were not wild, and we did notice fences. But it was exciting to see the camels out in the sand dunes.
The drive was interesting with occasional mosques,
lots of roadside vendors selling out of their vehicles,
and some rather
desolate landscape. The mountains are
very rugged looking and appear to have almost no vegetation on them.
We are staying at the Le Meridian Hotel right on the beach. What a beautiful place to relax.
